I’m based in Indianapolis and licensed as a Registered Dietitian in Indiana, Florida, and Illinois. I’m also able to provide virtual nutrition counseling to adults in many other states across the U.S.

What to Expect During Your Virtual Visits
Your first session usually lasts about an hour. We get to know each other, and I take the time to understand the full picture of your life and your health so we can build a plan that actually works for you. We’ll talk about:
- Your personal history: Work, family & Stress load
- Your medical history & current medications
- Your current health concerns
- What you’ve been struggling with
- Relevant allergies & diet-related issues
- Daily routines & eating patterns
We’ll dive into a little bit of nutrition education- this is the perfect opportunity for you to ask questions!
Towards the end, you’ll set 1-2 small, doable goals that feel realistic based on our conversation.
Follow- up sessions are where real change happens. They’re supportive, collaborative, and always tailored to what’s going on in your life that week. In your follow ups, we’ll:
- Talk through what’s working and what isn’t
- Adjust your goals as life shifts
- Troubleshoot challenges
- Talk about continuing to build upon habits you can stick to
- Celebrate progress!
No two sessions look exactly the same. We focus on what you need that day.
Insurance & Payment Options
Cash Pay Visits
Cash pay visits are conducted via Practice Better. This includes access to a shared journal and direct messaging access to your provider between visits!
You can book a free discovery call to see if working together is a good fit.
Initial Visit: $150
Follow Up: $75
Insurance Visits
Insurances Accepted: Aetna, Cigna, Golden Rule, Optum, Oxford, Select Health, United Healthcare, and United Medical Resources (UMR.)
Insurance visits are conducted via the Fay portal.
You can use Fay’s “Get Your Price” tool to verify your coverage before booking or contact your insurance company directly.
Cigna Update:
Cigna is temporarily unavailable for booking through my insurance platform due to an update. You’re welcome to book as a cash-pay client or reach out with questions. Many Cigna plans only cover 3 visits per year, so cash-pay may offer more flexibility.

Food Journal Review— $100/month
Use a shared journal inside the Practice Better portal to easily log your food intake with macro and micronutrient tracking, plus optional photo uploads for visual journaling. Includes weekly journal review with personalized feedback and suggestions to help you better meet your goals!
Personalized 7-day Meal Plan— $100
A fully customized 7-day meal plan tailored to your exact calorie and macronutrient needs, food preferences, and allergies, including recipes and a grocery list.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
For mostly everyone the answer is always YES- you would benefit from a follow-up visit. With that being said, I do also believe that your care should be centered around your goals. So if you don’t think you need one, that’s up to you!
This may vary based on your health conditions and preferences, but initially I would recommend monthly at minimum.
I get this question often. I don’t love meal plans for several reasons. They don’t teach you how to eat, they’re labor intensive and most people don’t follow them. This requires additional time outside of your session. If you would like a custom meal plan, it can be created for you for an additional fee. Please discuss with Sara during your session.

Yes. We do not treat patients with eating disorders or pediatric patients (patients under the age of 18.)
